All tour bookings, excursion packages, and custom itineraries organized by Travelmer are subject to the following terms of service to guarantee a transparent, safe, and high-quality travel experience:
1
Bookings and Payment Methods
To confirm any itinerary, an initial deposit (30% to 50% depending on service type) is required. The remaining balance must be settled prior to the tour start date.
2
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Refunds apply according to advance notice. Entrance tickets to Machu Picchu, Inca Trail permits, and train tickets are non-refundable per Peruvian government regulations.
3
Force Majeure & Itinerary Modifications
Travelmer is not liable for itinerary changes caused by extreme weather, social strikes, or government authority decisions. Safe alternatives and date rescheduling will be offered.
In compliance with Peruvian Personal Data Protection Law No. 29733, all personal information provided by our clients (names, passport numbers, emails, and phone numbers) is treated with strict confidentiality.
Exclusive Logistic Use
Your data is used exclusively for issuing train tickets, protected area entrance permits, and direct tour coordination.
Protection and Non-Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties without your prior consent.
We advise all travelers to book their Machu Picchu and Inca Trail permits months in advance due to high demand and daily capacity limits.
- Date modification without penalty up to 20 days prior (subject to official entrance availability).
- Mandatory travel insurance coverage for adventure sports and high-altitude treks.
- 24/7 Concierge customer support throughout your stay in Peru.
At Travelmer we promote responsible tourism, minimizing environmental impact on natural routes and directly supporting economic development in Andean communities in Cusco.
Carbon Footprint
We promote single-use plastic-free expeditions, responsible waste management, and protection of local flora and fauna on every trek.
Fair Trade
We guarantee fair wages, health insurance, and high-quality mountain equipment for our team of native guides, porters, and cooks.
