Terms & Conditions of Travel
All tour bookings, excursion packages, and custom itineraries organized by Travelmer are subject to the following terms of service to guarantee a transparent, safe, and high-quality travel experience:
Bookings and Payment Methods
To confirm any itinerary, an initial deposit (30% to 50% depending on service type) is required. The remaining balance must be settled prior to the tour start date.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Refunds apply according to advance notice. Entrance tickets to Machu Picchu, Inca Trail permits, and train tickets are non-refundable per Peruvian government regulations.
Force Majeure & Itinerary Modifications
Travelmer is not liable for itinerary changes caused by extreme weather, social strikes, or government authority decisions. Safe alternatives and date rescheduling will be offered.
Travel Insurance and Documentation
Travelers are responsible for holding a valid passport (minimum 6 months validity) and appropriate travel insurance covering medical expenses, emergency evacuations, and high-altitude trekking.
Passenger Conduct & Safety
Travelers must follow the guide's safety instructions at all times. Travelmer reserves the right to decline service to individuals under the influence of illegal substances or presenting disruptive behavior.
